From the car park, go down to Minerve by the access road. After crossing the Cathar town and its narrow streets, join the ramparts, go down to the Cesse and cross the river. The stairs lead to the reconstructed catapult called "la Malvoisine".
Then, the dirt and stone path overhangs the gorges and offers beautiful views of Minerve, then climbs through the causses before descending again. A road leads to the hamlet of Mayranne. The return journey is via the causses and vineyards until you reach the path from the outward journey, which you take in the opposite direction to return to the gorges. Take the footbridge, the metal stairs and return to the car park.

Warning: after a rainy episode, we advise you to ask about the conditions for crossing the river Brian, as the ford between the town and the catapult can sometimes be covered in water or become slippery.
Car park of the Bouis of Minerve (chargeable during Summer).
