EXPOSITION MEICHELUS

The Grand Café Occitan in Félines-Minervois will host the opening of a unique exhibition: some twenty original works by Michel Foucher, alias Meichelus. A time for art in a spirit of solidarity, as half the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Félines firefighters? association, and the other half to the poetic association l?AMagie.

"Poetry, like firefighters, saves us," says Meichelus. A child psychiatry nurse for over 40 years, and a fireman for 25 years in the Hautes-Alpes, he has long worked in the heart of psychological emergencies. "Offering my work to support the firefighters in my village and bringing poetry to life through AMagie was an obvious choice. This gesture fits in with my vision of art as a committed act, a link between those who save lives, and the artists who, through their creations, sometimes save souls..."
